Magic Holdem Poker Calculator

After playing online poker, I began looking for a free poker calculator. MagicHoldem is technically not free. It does, however come free if you sign up and make a small deposit with a Magic Holdem poker room partner. MagicHoldem currently partners with Pacific Poker, Titan Poker, Party Poker, Mansion Poker, Everest Poker, Full Tilt Poker, and Expekt. A partnership with Red Kings is coming soon. I installed MagicHoldem, a Texas Holdem calculator. It works automatically with the online poker software from most of the popular poker sites around. The results impressed me.

Learn from the MagicHoldem

People who want to learn poker well should try to understand what these odds mean. On the table, MagicHoldem gives you a thermometer analogy to help you decide whether you should call (or fold) or raise. When the hole cards are dealt, MagicHoldem gives two different ways to rate the hand thus far. After the flop is dealt, MagicHoldem throws out a set of odds. An overall win statistic is provided based on what the player has. MagicHoldem warns what the opposition could come up with to win. MagicHoldem doesn't just tell you what your overall winning probability is. It spells out the probability of getting any hand based on what's in the flop, turn, and river.

Poker Calculator Software

Using colors and graphics, MagicHoldem communicates what hand you already have and the chance you could pull out a better one. For example, in this hand, the player already has a triple in his hand. The player has a 29.1% chance of pulling off a full house. A 20.8% chance exists that another player may pull off a full house. These odds are based on statistical analysis of the cards. What is the chance the cards needed to make a full house could be the next cards dealt.

Pot Odds

The pot odds are provided next. Pot odds is what players need to focus on to keep their money in the long run. The importance of the pot odds is a simple component of what successful players who learn poker know. As long as pot odds are less than outs odds, the player should stay in the game. A free poker calculator may not be able to calculate the pot odds for the player.

MagicHoldem Calculator

Magic Holdem provides the odds that any one of your outs will show up in the community cards next. At the bottom window, MagicHoldem shows the best hand the player has to far. MagicHoldem's information windows conveniently pop up to the left of the online poker software. The player, however, can move them around to suit him or her. The player can also close any of the information windows.
